Panasonic Automotive is First to Support Broadcast Media with Android-Based Platform
Working with partners, such as Xperi, Panasonic Automotive is transforming the in-dash listening experience and what radio looks like in the vehicle

LAS VEGAS, April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic Automotive, the leading global supplier of automotive infotainment and connectivity systems solutions, announced today at the 2019 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, its SPYDR 2.0 complete cockpit android-based domain controller will support DTS Connected Radio via a collaboration with Xperi.

Xperi, with its DTS Connected Radio, is a global leader in radio and audio solutions. DTS Connect Radio combines over the air broadcast with IP delivered meta data for a content rich consumer experience. Panasonic Automotive is collaborating with Xperi to enhance SPYDR 2.0 with DTS Connected Radio to deliver enriched content with broadened metadata to offer consumers an entirely new visual experience in the vehicle.

With Panasonic Automotive's android-based platform, DTS Connected Radio technology enables receivers to display song titles, album art and station information with logo for analog and digital station.

The SPYDR 2.0 android-based domain controller will be on live demonstration in the In-Vehicle Experience booth located in North Hall (#12908) during NAB 2019.
