VICTORIA, BC – (April 5, 2016) – Vecima Networks Inc. (TSX:VCM), an experienced designer and manufacturer of innovative technology in the broadband equipment market, will be launching Bravura, its multiscreen IP video delivery solution, at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show held in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 18-21, 2016. “Vecima strives to equip operators with the tools to reduce and remove bandwidth constraints from their networks. With Bravura’s HEVC live encoding support, service providers can deliver superior quality HD and Ultra-HD Premium content to their subscribers anywhere, anytime, and on more devices while consuming minimum bandwidth,” said Sumit Kumar, President and CEO of Vecima Networks. “As a pure software solution, Bravura makes it easy for operators to support new codecs, encapsulation standards and screen sizes without the burden of expensive hardware upgrades. This is particularly important in the rapidly changing IPTV and OTT technology landscape,” he added.
